Right in the heart of the Black Forest Highlands, nestled among forests and meadows, Gaspedal Rötenbach is set in a landscape that delights nature lovers, families and explorers alike.
Just a few steps away lie the Rötenbach Meadows, a nature reserve that particularly impresses in spring and summer with its rich flora and rare wildlife.
Also within walking distance is the premium hiking trail through the Rötenbach Gorge, a well-marked path through primeval forests and along the Rötenbach stream, tempting visitors with waterfalls, varied landscapes and viewpoints.
The popular Rötenbach Ant Trail starts right at our site, an approximately 4.7-kilometre circular hiking route with interactive stations where children can playfully explore the forest and balance. A real experience for families.
Easy to reach by car and train
Our site is located on the former sports ground of TuS Rötenbach.
If travelling by car, plenty of parking is available directly on site.
Those travelling by public transport benefit from excellent accessibility: Rötenbach railway station is only about a 17-minute walk away, so Gaspedal can also be conveniently reached by train.
Trains towards Freiburg and Villingen run every 60 minutes.
